Well, we finally did it. We just bought ourselves a Pro Tools HD2 system and a new Mac.

Jet just finished putting the final touches on their record.
We also finished the Gold Sounds record. A very cool one one I might add as well.
Lets see I think …Trail of Dead are coming in soon, so are Scorpion Child.

we have been waiting for this day for 8 years. I almost feel lighter and much happier. we have a lot of good things to look forward too.
Black Earth is in the studio today. The Steps just wrapped up a new ep. The Gold Sounds from H-town did a week of tracking a cool record and are coming back in a month to mix it up. International Waters come at the top of the month with Ringo Death Starr on deck. So yeah we’re kinda busy.

We bought ourselves some x-mas mics and compressors(see gear list)!
Also getting some new diffuser panels for the live room and iso’s made, very cool. The place looks way different now with all our new panels and what not. 1st thing on my 2009 to do list is ta’ get some new pictures up.
OH and it snowed last night!

Well our 70 day lock out with our favorite kangaroo loving dudes, Jet has finally come to an end…no time to look back and ponder though. straight into some metal with Iron Age then into Frank Smith and maybe one day some rest.
